Kenya Riding Safaris

Average temperatures in Kenya

Map of Kenya Kenya has riding safaris to suit all styles of rider, from fast paced multi-day trips to lodge based relaxed afternoon rides. For good riders there is the chance to canter through huge herds of animals in some of the most famous game reserves in the world.

These exhilarating, fast-paced holidays explore remote, wilderness areas by day, with nights spent in lavish private tented camps.   Many of these lodges offering riding will also provide plenty of alternative activities for the non-riders among you or the for the days you feel like taking a break. You can choose from fly fishing on the slopes of Mount Kenya, hot-air ballooning in the Masai Mara, swimming in your lodge’s infinity pool, day and night game drives or guided bush walks to name but a few.

A Kenya Riding Safari – A Personal View

Alice in the Masai MaraRiding with Tristan Voorspuy in the Masai Mara with Offbeat Safaris, has to be one of my happiest memories in the saddle.

I have ridden throughout Africa for the last 12 years, but this riding safari in Kenya has to be one of my favourites. Their combination of good horses, fast riding and the occasional jump suited me perfectly.

Riding in the Masai Mara offers excellent game viewing and with Tristan as your guide, you feel this has to be one of the best riding holidays in Africa!
