Plantation Lodge is situated in a beautiful garden on a working coffee and arable farm just outside Karatu, a short drive from Lake Manyara and less than an hour from Ngorongoro Crater.

Accommodation & Facilities
The lodge which is privately owned has just sixteen large beautifully decorated and elegant rooms. Each room has en suite facilities. The rooms are divided into different self contained houses with their own lounge and dining areas thus providing a very intimate atmosphere. The food and service here are of a very high standard.

Wildlife & Activities
Plantation Lodge is an excellent place to stay for a night or two en route between Tarangire or Manyara and The Serengeti. It is possible to make day trips into both Lake Manyara National Park as well as the Ngorongoro Crater. Alternatively guests might prefer to relax by the pool or take great walks from the lodge into the surrounding area.
