Liberty Lodge Guest House
Liberty Lodge guest house located close to the centre of Cape Town is a perfect base from which to explore the city and its surroundings. The house itself has had a chequered career, having been a Victorian gentleman's townhouse, a fabric emporium and even a bordello in the 1940's.
Accommodation & Facilities
It now provides five comfortably appointed en-suite guest rooms, each of which has access either to a communal terrace with lovely views, or the courtyard where breakfast is served in the summer. The décor is a very personal assembly of antiques and carefully selected contemporary items which together create a unique mix. The interiors have often appeared in magazines and the delightful courtyard garden with its trickling fountain has featured in international gardening books as an example of superb use of a small garden space.
